In the early days of A Save the Universe Club different names were used for the units of time. The time of a persons life is used as the medium of exchange. When a person works for the community the person receives credit from the community in exchange for the amount of time spent. With this credit in form of ASTUC currency this person is then able to exchange the currency for the goods or services of others. The exchange is based on the value of the time spent producing the goods or services.
"Hours" and "Whiles" are abbreviated on these notes as "Hrs" and "Wls". Startime now refers to these as "Stars" and "Eggs". See Startime and a Manifesto for a more complete description.
